The standard battery life of the Oppo Watch X smartwatch is said to be up to 100 hours.
On Thursday, the Oppo Watch X made its debut in Malaysia. It looks that the wristwatch is the renamed OnePlus Watch 2, which made its debut on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. The newest wearable is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 CPU and has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. The battery life is stated to be up to 48 hours in Smart Mode for intensive usage, up to 100 hours in Smart Mode for regular use, and up to 12 days in Power Saving Mode.
Cost and availability of the Oppo Watch X
Platinum Black and Mars Brown are the two color options for the Oppo Watch X. The single Bluetooth edition of the smartwatch costs MYR 1,399, or approximately Rs. 24,500. The official Oppo website has it up for sale. It has only been available in Malaysia thus far, and it is unknown if it will expand to other regions. Prior reports suggested that China might debut in March.
Specifications of the Oppo Watch X
The newest smartwatch from Oppo has a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a 2.5D sapphire crystal screen, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, and a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The Oppo Watch X has two chipsets: a BES2700 chip that handles background activities and runs the Real Time Operating System (RTOS) and a Snapdragon W5 chip that facilitates the use of Wear OS apps. It has 32GB of built-in storage and 2GB of RAM.
When it comes to health features, the Oppo Watch X has an all-day sleep tracking feature that tracks various aspects of sleep, including breathing rate, quality, mood, and danger of snoring. It also features daily exercise reminders, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, and heart rate monitoring. It features six different types of cardio machine detection, over 100 sports modes for fitness monitoring, professional sports modes, and more.
The 500mAh battery powering the Oppo Watch X is claimed to be able to fully charge the watch in 60 minutes. According to the manufacturer, the watch’s battery life can last up to 48 hours when used heavily, 100 hours when using Smart Mode, and 12 days while using Power Saver mode.
