The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor from Qualcomm will power the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will soon be made public in China. The business has formally unveiled the next tablet’s design and several important features. The Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max are among the other variants in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series with which it is identical in style. Notably, the Indian market has only seen the introduction of the series’ base model. If the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro would finally be released in India, Xiaomi has not yet verified this.
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will launch in China on February 22 at 7 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. IST), the company stated in a Weibo post. The tablet will run Xiaomi’s new HyperOS out-of-the-box and be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the company also said. The tablet is seen to accommodate a magnetic keyboard and stylus in the photos that Xiaomi released.
It has also been confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro would have a 12.4-inch LCD panel with a 3K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 3:2 aspect ratio. Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and 120W wired fast charging will be supported by the tablet. It may be the subject of further information when the launch date approaches.
According to earlier speculations, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is probably going to support up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It might also have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 10,000mAh battery.
It is reported that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will replace the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which was introduced in China for a price of CNY 2,399 (about Rs. 28,500) for the 8GB + 128GB model. It can also be purchased in the following configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB for CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 32,000), CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 35,700), and CNY 3,299 (about Rs. 39,000).
Among its notable features are an 11-inch 2.8K (1,800 x 2,880 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and an 8,600mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. The tablet comes with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit with MIUI 14, an Android 13-based operating system.
