The Vivo V30 was discreetly released earlier in February in a few international countries.
It’s known that the Vivo V30 series will shortly appear in India. There will be two models available: the Vivo V30 Pro and the standard model. Earlier in February, the vanilla Vivo V30 was first introduced in a few international regions. Therefore, it is anticipated that the Indian version of the phone will have specs that are comparable to those of the worldwide version. On February 28, the Pro model is scheduled to be released in Thailand. The Vivo V30 lineup’s debut date in India has now also been disclosed by the business.
On March 7, at 12 p.m. IST, Vivo announced that the Vivo V30 series, which includes the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, will launch in India. A phone microsite has gone live on Flipkart, verifying the phones’ availability on the online retailer. The handsets will be offered in a minimum of three colorways, which are Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green, as the business previously revealed.
It is known that the Vivo V30 Pro has three rear cameras. Additionally, OIS-capable portrait cameras and Vivo’s renowned Aura Light feature—a square LED flash unit mounted on the back panel—are hinted to be coming to the lineup. According to the advertising, Zeiss-backed cameras will also be included with the phones.
The Vivo V30’s global version has a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The phone’s optics consist of an Aura Light unit in conjunction with a 50-megapixel primary OV50E sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50-megapixel sensor that has an ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, the front camera has a 50-megapixel sensor.
The Vivo S18 Pro, which debuted in China in December 2023, is suspected to be rebranded as the Vivo V30 Pro. The Vivo V30 Pro will come with a 50-megapixel triple back camera array, the company has announced. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a third sensor combined with an ultra-wide-angle lens are reportedly possible components.
Like the Vivo S18 Pro, the Vivo V30 Pro might have a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. It is also most likely to come with a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen running FuntouchOS 14, which is based on Android 14. The phone may have an IP54 dust and splash resistant rating. It is anticipated that Vivo will include a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging capabilities in the device.
