Potential SoC for the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+
Soon, the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G is anticipated to be released in India. According to reports, the phone will replace the Samsung Galaxy F14 5G, which made its debut in India in March 2023. The rumored phone is probably going to have a lot of improvements over the previous model. Online, design renderings of the smartphone had already appeared. It has also been observed on websites for certification and benchmarking. Leaked promotional photos now appear to reveal some of the phone’s primary features, while a tipster has revealed some details about the cost and available colors.
In a post on X, tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) revealed that the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G will be sold for less than Rs. 15,000 on Flipkart when it launches in India. The phone is seen in sea green, purple, and black color schemes in the pictures that have been circulated. The leak goes on to say that the model—which is supposedly the first in the segment to do so—may provide users with four generations of Android updates. The tipster went on to say that a 6,000mAh battery is probably going to power the device.
Concurrently, a Smartprix article revealed leaked Samsung Galaxy F15 5G promotional photos. According to the report, the phone will be unveiled on February 22 at 12 p.m. Indian Standard Time. A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage is anticipated to power it.
The 6.5-inch 90Hz sAMOLED screen, 13-megapixel selfie camera, 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit with ultrawide and macro shooters, and 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging were also reportedly included in the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G.
According to the report, users of Samsung’s Galaxy F15 5G will also receive five years of security updates and four years of Android updates. Additionally, it is anticipated to have the “Voice Focus” feature, which is typically present in Galaxy A-series phones and is supposed to assist in lowering background noise while on calls.
It had previously been predicted that the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A15 would have comparable specs. Additionally, there were hints of the phone’s impending India launch on the Geekbench website and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database.
